RECENT NEWS 11/09/09

Ahoy! Silky here, with some news on that RP I told you guys about~!

Firstly, I'd like to point out that I'm still deciding where to hold these RPs. For the record though, I'd rather that they not leave dA. Maybe in my forum in ~PirateGirl-Tetra?
Or perhaps a chatroom?
Since everyone can post there. What do you guys think?

I've written up some information on the angels, and decided they would go through a training academy before they join the Houses.
They go by class: initiates, apprentices, trainees, and veterans.

Initiates focus on the study of magic and spells, and focusing their power to find what element they specialize in (but alas, homework holds true even here. THERE IS NO ESCAPE). Initiates are not allowed to use magic outside of their class/studies without permission.

Apprentices focus on applying their skills and practicing them, and are named so because they are trained by either Trainees or Veterans. Apprentices are allowed some magic practice outside their class/studies, but are not allowed to use high level spells.
(homework will be out to get you here too. In fact, it's even worse here. ouo)

Trainees focus on training and sharpening their skills by... well, training! They practice field skills that'll help them during real battles. They still get work, although most of the work is independent work and they go at their own pace. Though for this reason, most students spend most of their time here, and will stay at this class for quite some time... So as a result, it's common to see more Trainees than Veterans.

Veterans are the highest class (but are below the Houses), and focus on... whatever they want! At this point, a Veteran can apply to become a House seat, but must pass some pretty hard tests to get there (alas, the tests. They are ebil). Veterans more often than not try and advance to a House seat. The applied House will evaluate their skill/knowledge before either accepting or rejecting the student.

I wrote a lot more information, but I'll give you guys snippets just to show you what's up.

From here, being a House seat's a lot of responsibility. They have to manage the students as well as giving missions to Trainees and Veterans (they can assign missions to Veterans, yes), as well as go on their own missions.
For the record, a mission can be protecting a person, place, or thing, obtaining something, etc. It can vary, depending on the situation.
High Seats manage the House Seats, and Grand Seats manage the Houses. (Think of the Grand Seats as another House, but basically a first among equals. Except there are less than 10 people in the Grand Seats.)

ANYHOO. Ok. I hope you guys get the basic idea. xD;

This RP is gonna work a little differently from the original Divisions, since I wanna allow more species than the Divisions usually would.

There are 13 seats in each House, including the 3 High Seats per house. The Ace from each House is usually the most skilled, so that job isnt taken lightly~

The Houses are the following:

House of Clubs- Specialize in knowledge
ie. information gathering, archiving, etc.
Uniform color: Green

House of Hearts- Specialize in healing
(but are also good at fighting and are not to be underestimated)
Uniform color: Red

House of Spades- Specialize in combat
(self explanatory); they're the best at fighting and are first-in-line for battles.
Uniform color: Gray (temporary)

House of Diamonds- Specialize in magic
ie. magic spells, usually travel alone and fight demons, are the second-in-line for battles.
Uniform color: Blue

And the Elements are the following:

The elements are Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Light.

So if your character's element(s) are characterized like any of the following, they are classified as that type of element:

Fire- Heat, magma, energy, pressure, ash, smoke, etc.
Water- ice, frost, mist, storms, etc.
Earth- earth, forest, growth, life, dark, minerals, steel, wood, etc.
Wind- air, aerial pressure, flying, etc.
Light- Spirit, electric, souls, essences, etc.

Class: (Initiate, Apprentice, Trainee, Veteran) or (House Seat; but if you want to be a House seat PLEASE ASK FIRST! Escpecially if you're asking for a High Seat)

Personality:
Story: (so basically a short background story? )
Reference Sheet: (or a thorough description of what they look like pls. xD; )

As well as anything else you think we should know. :3

Anyways, would you guys like to see some Tale of the Sutai concept art and stuff? If you'd like, I could also upload really old sketches and original character concepts so that you may either POINT AND LAUGH HAHA THOSE CONCEPTS/SKETCHES SUCKED or rather say how much better they/my art looks now. xD;

And for the recorddd since I feel you guys should know, this account is OC art ~only~
With the exception of that San Diego collab. xD;

But yup, like I said, concept art, I GOTS LOTS OF IT.
Althoughh for now most of the Tale of the Sutai will not be explained, since it is staying SECRET except for a select few, because...
A. It's a surprise! I wanna see your reactions when you see the story
unfold!
B. I-I don't want my ideas copied. sdhfgsfsh.
C. ITS MORE FUN THAT WAY.

So yeah! Long update is long this time. And actually interesting. My old updates were all... I had no idea where I was going.
But for now, this account will focus on the Tale of the Sutai stuff!
I've designed what the basic layout of the website will look like, along with another special project I hope you guys will enjoy <33

Wow doodz. The last time I said something was.... a year ago. 8'C
WELL ANYWAYS. I've written the basics of Secret of the Guardians, and I've even made the logo, all I need is to write up the details and make some practice pages! AND THEN GET STARTED WOO. I might upload some of the practice pages I've already done, and character concept art, but they'll be in my scraps. So keep a lookout! Demon†Cross is gonna take longer (logo has been made for that too), so ya... That, and I need to find a rly short story to draw a mini-comic to. Any suggestions?

You know, it's not long until our lucky 7/7/7. Only 2 more months. There's gonna be a LOT of weddings, let me tell you. The DJ on the radio show was talking about it one day.
